This is the first time I have been on a fishing trip and I caught my first ever fish! Everyone was very impressed,  especially my mum.  So I read my story and found out how my day went.

The trees were whistling. The  owls were communicating. The stream was rushing. It was dark,gloomy and misty. There were wolves howling and screaming. Crickets singing.

We were learning to use personification in our writing.  Personification is giving something that a human can do.
